Enroll in EFT or update your bank account
These are sequential, each one depends on the last:- Medica EFT/ERA is handled through InstaMed and Optum Pay, enroll with both.
- Optum Pay: open the Optum Pay home page, click ENROLL NOW, then register for portal access.
- InstaMed: enroll once to receive ERA/EFT from all payers on the InstaMed list (Medica Payer IDs 12422, 71890, MEDM1).
- Enter provider and bank account details and review them for accuracy.
- Allow about 10 business days to complete. See Medica’s “How to Register for EPS” guide at https://partner.medica.com.
If you are switching banks
Re-run the enrollment above with the new account details. Until the change is confirmed, payments continue to the old account, keep it open and sweep the balance until deposits from Medica appear in the new account. See Switch banks without missing a payer deposit for the full cutover checklist, and EFT reassociation for how to keep matching ERAs to deposits during the transition.Related
