# TMHP (TX Medicaid)

> How to enroll in EFT/ERA and change your bank account for TMHP (TX Medicaid), step by step.

## Enroll in EFT or update your bank account

These are sequential, each one depends on the last:

1. Log in to TMHP PEMS at [https://www.tmhp.com](https://www.tmhp.com).
2. Open a PEMS Maintenance request and go to the Accounting/Billing Information page.
3. Opt into EFT (no separate EFT form upload is required) and enter your bank routing and account numbers.
4. Attach a voided check or bank letterhead with the routing and account information.
5. Submit. TMHP sends a prenotification to your bank; once verified, payments deposit directly.

## If you are switching banks

Re-run the enrollment above with the new account details. Until the change is
confirmed, payments continue to the old account, keep it open and sweep the
balance until deposits from TMHP (TX Medicaid) appear in the new account. See
