# PECOS (Medicare online enrollment)

> EFT/ERA enrollment through PECOS (Medicare online enrollment), which payers it covers and how enrollment works.

PECOS is CMS's online provider enrollment system. The EFT (CMS-588) section inside your PECOS enrollment record is the online way to set or change Medicare bank details.

## Payers enrolled through this portal

## Changing banks

Enrollment in this portal points payments at a specific bank account. When you
switch banks, log back in and update the deposit account for **every payer
listed above**, payers do not share bank changes with each other, even inside
the same portal. Keep the old account open until you see deposits land in the
