# Medicare, Novitas (CMS-588)

> EFT/ERA enrollment through Medicare, Novitas (CMS-588), which payers it covers and how enrollment works.

Novitas Solutions is the Medicare Administrative Contractor (MAC) for jurisdictions JH/JL. EFT changes go through Form CMS-588, on paper or in PECOS.

## Changing banks

Enrollment in this portal points payments at a specific bank account. When you
switch banks, log back in and update the deposit account for **every payer
listed above**, payers do not share bank changes with each other, even inside
the same portal. Keep the old account open until you see deposits land in the
