# Cigna

> How to enroll in EFT/ERA and change your bank account for Cigna, step by step.

**Portal:** [Cigna for Health Care Professionals](https://cignaforhcp.cigna.com/app/login) · [About this portal](https://www.practiceownersguide.com/reference/payers/cigna.md)

## Enroll in EFT or update your bank account

These are sequential, each one depends on the last:

1. Go to [https://cignaforhcp.cigna.com/app/login](https://cignaforhcp.cigna.com/app/login) and log in with your provider credentials.
2. Navigate to the relevant section to update your payer portal settings.

## If you are switching banks

Re-run the enrollment above with the new account details. Until the change is
confirmed, payments continue to the old account, keep it open and sweep the
balance until deposits from Cigna appear in the new account. See
[Switch banks without missing a payer deposit](https://www.practiceownersguide.com/guides/switch-banks.md) for the
full cutover checklist, and [EFT reassociation](https://www.practiceownersguide.com/concepts/eft-reassociation.md)
for how to keep matching ERAs to deposits during the transition.
